Tomorrow

The delicate morning sunshine,
Filters in through the window curtains-
Dispelling the chill of the gloomy night,
Setting the world ablaze in hues of crimson,
Ushering in a bright new day,
Newer trials, renewed hopes.
The difficulties that were yesterday,
Seem like they are no more.
'Tomorrow is here and now.'
She could tell for sure.

Such is the song of life...
Amidst struggle and strife
The moonlight might be pale
But it's another day, another tale!

@Anish: Hope is all we have at the end of the day. Without it living through each day would be quite impossible.

@Freelancer: Glad you felt that way. :)

@CB: Thanks.

@Jaspreet: That is indeed the message that I wished to convey through these few lines. :)

@atindriyo: Ah couldn't have put it in better words myself :)
Long time no see, friend.

@musenmotivation: Thank you. I fully intend to. :)

@Calvy: Absolutely!

Night is not gloomy. It's just mysterious. Bad things make us learn things that good things can't teach us, right?
Anyway, nice verse. :)

I like the contrasts. 'Chill of the gloomy night' and 'tomorrow is here and now'- beautiful lines :)

@just a pen in my hand: Thanks. Glad you could relate to it. :)

@Nethra: Night is gloomy in the sense it signifies an 'end' to a day. It's like no more opportunities or chances are left and you're left to look forward to the next day to finish what you started. :)

@Sid: Yes optimism is the key.

@Nasra: Thank you so much for those words.

Samadrita said...

@ajay: Glad you found them to your liking. :)

@Selenium: Whoa look who's here. Long time no see! :)
Get back to blogging soon.

@Hary!: Yes indeed.

Very nice. The best part is, you have just kept it there for us to pick. Not too much of optimism. not too lengthy at all. I like that. God bless.
