I'm blissfully lost-
Somewhere in the catacombs of time,
Reliving moments of glory and days gone-by.
It's almost as if I'm afraid-
To venture into the bleakness of what lies ahead,
Fearing I might stumble or falter.
Then you come around and sit beside me-
To place a tender,loving hand-
On my head.
You smile at my nervousness.
Give me that ever-meaningful look.
And just like that all my doubts are purged.
I know only I can give it shape.
Breathe life into it or make it break.
That cherished desire of my heart,
I would never let it go for anyone's sake.

yes....we shouldn't let go of our dreams for anyone's sake...we should only listen to our hearts and do what we want to..success or failure shouldn't dictate our actions..our dreams should....

Loved reading it! My dreams are my own, and no one can take them away from me! I don't care, where do I land myself... hell, or heaven; success or failure; I am not someone who can give up on anything so easily!
I keep following my dreams. And they too make sure that I'm constantly troubled by them! :)
We should never give up, no matter what. Even Naruto keep saying that all the time. :)
Good one…very thoughtful. Made me recall one of the revelations I had. I was once trekking along the tough mountain with enthusiastic friends, it was hard for me as I never trek. It was uphill & I just got very scared. The soil was loose the place to keep foot & climb was small & there were thorns. I was scared as I never could go back below into the water falls & all my friends had climbed up. The path ahead of me seemed tough & scary because I could fall below which was quite deep. No choice just kept thinking of one step & planning for few more ahead of me & within no time climbed the mountain with few bruises caused by thorns. At last I felt a sigh of relief & my inner self told me see the path was not as tough as it seemed. If u have to drive all night long, it’s enough if headlights point to few meters ahead of you. You will get to the destination as your car moves along!
PS: this was at Chunchi falls near Bangalore!

Nice one. . Definitely venturing into unknow is not easy. . And most of us tend to get lost in the golden parts and present. . But those who make it, are the one who r successfull. .
